The Best 1 Hour Bolognese 

You will need​

1 lb ground beef

1 lb ground pork

1/2 white onion 

1 packet beef bouillon

3 tbsp. tomato paste

1 can beef stock  

1 can tomato sauce

1 can diced tomatoes

1 cup red wine 

2 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. dried italian seasoning

1 tsp white sugar

1 tbsp. garlic powder 

1 tbsp. onion powder  

Salt & Pepper 

Olive Oil

In a large pot add your meat to a drizzle olive oil. Once partially cooked add your onions, garlic, tomato paste and beef bouillon packet and finish cooking on a higher temperature. Once browned, add your red wine, beef stock, diced tomatoes and tomato sauce. 

​

Allow to simmer for at least 20 minutes then add the rest of your dried seasonings. Salt & Pepper to taste. Let simmer on low for at least 40 for minutes but like most sauces - they longer they can cook the better. My favorite way to prepare the bolognese is to toss it with some angle hair pasta and top with freshly shredded parmesan and parsley.

Makes  6- 8 servings. Also stores well in the freezer for easy preparation. Enjoy!
