Steak & Cheese Sliders
Ingredients

1 pound sirloin steak thinly sliced
2 tablespoons oil of choice
1 clove garlic minced
1/2 medium yellow onion sliced
2 ounces fresh mushrooms minced
1/2 large green bell pepper sliced
2 teaspoons Montreal Steak Seasoning

Heat oil of choice in a large skillet, and sauté the garlic, onion, mushrooms, and bell pepper over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes or until softened. Then set aside in a separate bowl. Add the steak, salt, pepper, Montreal steak seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Cook over low to medium heat until the meat is almost done.

Once the meat is 90% cooked you'll want to add back in your cooked veggies and stir until fully cooked.

To assemble your sliders you'll want to first slice the Hawaiian Rolls in half, as a whole. You should have a top layer of the rolls and a bottom layer to make the assembly easier for yourself. Cover the bottom layer of rolls with an even layer of mayo then top with your steak & veggie mixture. Top all of your sliders with a layer of sliced cheese. I prefer to use American or Provolone. At this point you'll want to top your sliders with the top half of the rolls.

To top the rolls melt together half a stick of butter with some garlic, onion powder and parsley. Brush evenly over the rolls to get an even coloring when in the oven. Cover sliders with aluminum foil to keep your rolls from browning too quickly and bake at 350° F for about 10 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Then uncover and bake an additional 5 to 10 minutes or so until the rolls are golden brown. Allow to rest for 5 - 10 minutes so you dont burn your hands and serve! Perfect for a game day treat or an easy week night meal for the family!
